The Visiting Artist Program (VAP)
Funding for author visits is available to your school through the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council’s Visiting Artist Program. For information and a downloadable application form, visit the NLAC's Visiting Artist Program page. Schools receiving Arts Smarts funding may not apply for VAP funding for those grades currently benefiting from the Arts Smarts Program.
The VAP provides $500 for an author visit. This funding may be used for three sessions, usually held over the course of a single day.
