Is Quinter Cove a Real Place?

Quinter Cove is not a real place. When I wrote The Saltbox Sweater , I was thinking of small outports near our summer house in Trinity Bay South.  Here are some pictures that let you see what those communities look like.

The communities along that shore helped me to imagine Quinter Cove, but you won't find places called Quinter Cove or Avalon Station on any map of Newfoundland.
